Harmonisation - Donor countries coordinate, simplify procedures and share information, to avoid duplication.

Donors use co-ordinated mechanisms for aid delivery

  • A Strategic Framework for Development Cooperation Management for Jordan is developed and supported by UNDP
  • A system for strengthening aid flows,  implemented by MOPIC, is supported by UNDP
  • All relevant donors are consulted at each stage of the project cycle
  •  UNDP is actively involved in Jordan’s donor aid delivery mechanism
  • Support to the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) continues

Donor co-ordination

  • UNDP will continue to take a lead role in coordinating with other UN agencies in the process of Delivering as One (DaO) and in developing joint programmes where possible.
  • UNDP participates in relevant donor thematic groups (minimum 3) formed to share relevant information.
  • UNDP will endeavor to chair at least one of the donor thematic groups.

Donors co-ordinating their country studies

  • UNDP  will move towards joint donor studies (minimum one per year)  on a thematic area relevant to the country
